Product description
Bio Island Cod Liver + Fish Oil is a vitamin supplement for children from 4 weeks old. Bio Island Cod Liver + Fish Oil comes in an easy to squeeze capsule form perfect for young kids.
Bio Island Cod Liver + Fish Oil capsules provide:
-DHA & EPA which are essential omega-3 fatty acids. The body cannot produce them and they therefore must be obtained through the diet.
- Vitamin A plays a role in immune mechanisms.
- Vitamin D is essential for the absorption and utilisation of calcium. Vitamin D is therefore very important during the growth years.
- Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that helps to prevent free radical damage to polyunsaturated fatty acids that help to form the cell membrane.
Ingredients per Tablets/ Capsule:
Cod Liver Oil 275mg which is equivalent to Vitamin A 100 mcg & Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D 30IU) 0.75mcg
Fish Oil (Natural) 120mg which is equivalent to omega-3 marine triglycerides 36mg
as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 21.6mg & Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 14.4mg
D-Alpha Toopherol (Vitamin E) 4.4mg.
Directions:
Capsules are to be taken with meals,
Infants 0-6 months: exclusive breastfeeding is recommended, consult your healthcare professional and use onlu as directed. 7-12 months take 1-2 capsules daily, 1-3 years take 2 capsules; 4-8 years take 3 capsules; 9+ years take 4 capsules.
Note:For children under the age of four twist or cut the capsule tail and squeeze the contents onto a spoon. The contents can then be given in the mouth, using the spoon. Alternatively, the dosage can be squeezed onto food.
